"Geaux Bags"

KTAL-TV, Shreveport, LA

What began as a simple request for an annual volunteer project in May 2024 quickly turned into something much bigger. Geaux Bags are designed for children of all ages and genders, offering comfort during a difficult transition into protective custody. Since May 2024, KTAL has helped secure approximately $150,000 to support the project, volunteered over 100 hours, and donated more than $500,000 in airtime. It's for the kids!
